Entries for this year’s Sandown Sprint, sponsored by the Island Car Centre, were booked up just two weeks after opening last month. The Isle of Wight’s speed trial is a motor racing event for cars and will once again be held at Culver Parade in Sandown over the weekend of 20th and 21st April 2024. “We were hoping for a positive response to the entries opening just before Christmas,” said promoter Tim Addison. “We aim to start 100 cars in April, so it’s great to have these places full already. Brightbulb’s Mince Pie Marathon Returns!
Island web and design studio, Brightbulb Design, has today launched the return of the Mince Pie Marathon. The event, now in its fourth year helps raise money for Island charity, The Wight Brainy Bunch. Over the past 3 years that the event has been held, it has helped to raise almost £20,000 towards helping those families on the Island suffering with brain tumours.
