If your kids love the natural world, science or simply love the great outdoors then the new, FOCAS FEST, is definitely not to be missed! This festival provides a fantastic opportunity for kids to immerse themselves in our world of wonder. The Sanctuary together with the Wonderseekers charity (Winchester Science Museum) and a collection of over 20 interactive exhibitors will be bringing conservation and the science behind it to life in a really fun and imaginative way. The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is delighted to once again be the Official Race Charity of Round the Island Race in 2023. The charity is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, having been launched by Dame Ellen MacArthur in July 2003. Five young people went sailing that first summer with the Trust and now almost 2,900 young people have been part of their transformational sailing adventures. Since becoming the Race charity in 2005, over £300,000 has been raised for the Trust, enabling the charity to support hundreds of young people post-treatment. After a successful run over Easter with thousands of people in attendance, Ticket to Ryde is returning again for theweekend. The event will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April on Ryde seafront, and is free for everyone to attend.     Organised by the Jack Up Events with the support of Ryde Town Council, the event takes place on Eastern Gardens, opposite the harbour.
