Round the Island Race 2022
22 July to 31 July

The Island's largest arts festival, Ventnor Fringe, returns in just a few weeks time from 22nd - 31st July with a packed programme spanning 10 days of music, comedy, cabaret, circus and visual arts. Pick and choose whichever shows interest you, sample the bars, street food and markets or explore the vast Free Fringe with buskers and pop up shows across the town.
Highlights this year include music from Mercury Prize nominees The Big Moon, the Post-Punk sounds of Goat Girl and local stars CHAMPS and Plastic Mermaids. Comedy is well represented with TV's Lou Sanders, Jayde Adams, Simon Brodkin and Angela Barnes among a huge range of stand ups travelling to Ventnor. Cabaret comes from the sensational Le Gateau Chocolat, Queen of the Alternative Drag scene, Jonny Woo and RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Victoria Scone, as well as the world renowned House of Burlesque.
Theatre fans should look out for 'Say It Again, Sorry' with their hilarious interpretation of 'The Importance of Being...Earnest? which was a sold out smash hit in Edinburgh last year. Other highlights include Improv Shakespeare and two of the country's leading circus companies, Lost In Translation and Let's Circus.
