‘Drop’ in to Blackgang and enjoy 2 new rides for 2022!
It is one of the Island’s highly anticipated family attractions that has just re-opened for the spring season on the Isle of Wight and we were lucky enough to be there to enjoy the opening weekend.
With two new rides to try, the level of excitement was undoubtably high, but not only to experience the new attractions, but to also be reunited with the lovable Dodo’s, newly spruced and cleaned dinosaurs and to also watch the captivated expressions of the children’s faces as we walk under the smugglers legs at the entrance (a family tradition by now!).
As we walked into the park, the 1st new attraction was clearly in view, with the dinosaur area being slightly re-modelled with a refurbished footpath leading down the cliff. Straight ahead, we saw the first glimpse of ‘Evolution’ – a 13m drop tower, which would be sure to delight the whole family with its breath taking views and adrenaline rushing drops. What a thrill!
As we walked past the maze (after getting hopelessly lost ofcourse), we entered the far end of the park where Cliff Hanger is and there we spotted the 2nd new attraction for 2022 – ‘Shipwrecked’. We were delighted to see such incredible theming, not only on the ride itself, but also the surroundings and queuing system, accompanied with pirate themed music which will be sure to get you in the swashbuckling mood.
The team at Blackgang Chine welcome you to enjoy the magic again with new dinosaurs on their way soon along with the famous Cowboy Town, Fairyland, Snakes and Ladders, Pirate play area, Underwater Kingdom and much more for the family to enjoy.
With many exciting events in the pipeline this year, Blackgang Chine will unlock you and your family’s imagination, giving you the sense of adventure and memories to cherish.
The park owners have hinted a new ride to celebrate its 180th year in 2023… so watch this space!
