Through the Wight Lens – Josh Thomas of Capture the Second Photography

The team at isleofwight.com are continually impressed by the incredible talent of budding and experienced photographers on the Isle of Wight.

We love to share photos and videos… so we would like to give something back. We are launching a brand new feature: Through the Wight Lens.

This is aimed to bring you the latest work of photographers who have a keen eye for nature, countryside, sunrises and sunsets, while also exploring their background and passion for their craft. We cannot wait to see your work! We love spontaneous, creative, unusual, and inspirational shots – that screams “wow”!

To begin our Islandwide search for the Island’s best photographers, we start with Josh Thomas of Capture the Second Photography.

Capture The Second Photography

Islander Josh Thomas, aged 22 has been interested in photography since he undertook a GCSE course at school. He then went on to set up his own facebook page called ‘Capture The Second Photography.’

His main passion is wildlife photography and travels all over the Island to achieve this. Josh has discovered an interest in landscape photography in recent years, travelling Islandwide to achieve that beautiful sunset photo or stunning coastline view.

His aim for the future is to continue with his passion but to also start looking at night sky photography.

Josh’s photos are available to purchase and if you are interested visit his facebook page or contact him at [email protected].
