Sat Nav Guidance to the Hidden Isle of Wight
We are delighted to announce that “Turn by Turn” navigation is available for all of our listings on isleofwight.com. This is a first for the Isle of Wight tourism websites and signals part of the £60,000 investment made in the website to deliver information to the site user easily and effectively.
This is a major leap forward as over 70% of traffic to isleofwight.com is done via a smart phone or tablet device. Integrating Satellite navigation allows the tourist to discover so many more places and possibilities.
At the bottom of each listing, as shown in the image below, there is a “Plan my Route” button. Once selected, the site will guide the user directly to what they are looking for. What this means is that places that are tucked away and very often missed by the tourist, can now easily be found and located, opening up so much more for the tourist.
