New arrivals for The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary
The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary cannot wait for you all to meet their latest rescued animals, a pair of Servals called Tafkap and Xirus. They were saved from the illegal pet trade and will arrive in mid-December to enjoy their new life in their forever home in our sanctuary by the sea.
Servals are absolutely beautiful wild cats native to Africa with long legs and particularly large ears that give them an acute sense of hearing. They are also highly successful hunters and can jump more than 9 feet straight up to grab a bird right out of the air – oh beware ye plump pigeons of Sandown!
Tafkap and Xirus had a pretty horrendous start in life but there is a whole lot of love and care waiting for them on the Island so come along and see them for yourselves.
