Santa Specials at the Railway
Step into Christmas magic on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway Santa Specials this December, gather your loved ones and step back in time aboard our beautifully restored, historic steam train carriages for a festive holiday adventure.
This year, the Christmas festive cheer is bigger and better than ever!
All-New Fun with the Elves: Santa’s cheerful, mischievous helpers are taking over the station! Join in on holiday antics as they spread joy throughout the platform.
Santa Bells for Every Child: Listen for the sounds of Christmas! To help guide Santa’s sleigh, every child will be gifted their very own special festive bell to ring loud and proud.
Meet Father Christmas: Follow the winter walkway to the festive Train Story Discovery Centre. Inside his cosy, beautifully lit carriage grotto, Santa himself will be waiting to see you and hand a special wrapped present to every boy and girl.
Festive Entertainment & Rides: Enjoy a spin on the traditional fairground carousel, a stroll through the enchanting Miniature Winter Wonderland, and live seasonal entertainment.
Seasonal Treats: Adults can stay warm and merry with a range of festive food and drink available across their restaurants & Whistle Stop Cafe.
Drive In Cinema
Wessex Cancer Support IOW 2026 Drive In Cinema will take place at Robin Hill Adventure park between Friday 27th November and 29th November 2026! From family favourites to classic Christmas rom coms, they will be showing them all on a giant LED screen. To celebrate 45 years of Wessex Cancer Support, they’d love to see you there. Grab your hot snacks and drinks on-site before snuggling down with your family and favourite festive film. There’s no need to let the wintry weather in – you will be tuning in to hear the film soundtrack through your car radio. Tickets for each screening are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Illuminate Isle of Wight 2026
A brand new light trail is arriving on the Isle of Wight this December. Illuminate will be lighting up Robin Hill Adventure Park from Friday 4th December through to Friday 1st January, bringing an unforgettable festive experience to the Island. For more information, visit the website.
Take a 60–80 minute walk through the beautiful grounds of Robin Hill, where you’ll journey through breathtaking light installations, immersive displays and magical moments around every corner.
Along the trail you’ll also find a festive Christmas village, serving up seasonal treats including marshmallow toasting, mulled wine, hot chocolate & a range of hot food to keep you warm as you explore. With limited spaces available each day, it is highly recommend booking early for tickets.
