Enchanting Princesses come to the most magical place on the Island

Magical princesses and crime fighting heroes are making their way to Shankln Chine on Sunday 17th September. Characters from Enchanted Isle – Princess Parties will be making their way to the Isle of Wight’s most historic and magical attraction from 11am.

Little ones can meet Alice in Wonderland, Spiderman, Rapunzel, Captain America, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Elsa throughout the afternoon.

Jo Porter, Operations Manager of Shanklin Chine said “we want to keep adding to the experience that is Shanklin Chine. We started with our Halloween event a couple of years ago – which is going ahead again this year from October 13th, watch this space. We then added the mighty dinosaurs, we have regular live music and now we have superheroes and princesses.” Jo continued “we had planned to do a Christmas event in 2023 but due to the poor weather this summer and the hindrance of having no direct access to our top entrance we have decided to postpone it this year. We can sympathise with Robin Hill making the decision to close early and move events this year. It’s been a tough one for everyone.”

Shanklin Chine positively encourages you to bring your children in full costume to meet their idols and don’t forget to take lots of pictures and tag the Chine in as many as you can.

Standard fares to Shankllin Chine apply and all come with seven days worth of returns PLUS islanders receive 10% off tickets with proof of address. There will also be live Jazz in the Chine every Wednesday and Saturday throughout September.

Just a reminder there is still no direct access to the Chine from the top entrance, the alternative route from the Old Village is; Along Church Road, Priory Road, Popham Road to Rylstone Gardens or Along Chine Ave, Down Chine Hill and enter Shanklin Chine via Esplanade entrance.
