February Half Term:
West Wight Sports and Community Centre are excited to release their February Half Term programme of activities for children, between Monday 16th and Sunday 22nd February. They have both land and pool-based sessions for children aged 4 and above to enjoy throughout the week.

Southampton Marathon:
They are delighted to announce that they have secured charity places for the Southampton Marathon this year. The event takes place on Sunday 3rd May, and they are now accepting applications.
To apply, please complete one of the application forms on their website and return it to reception. You can also collect a printed copy from reception.
Successful applicants will run in support of West Wight Sports and Community Centre Trust (Charity No. 273334). Runners must commit to raising a minimum of £200 to help support the Trust’s ongoing work.
Places are limited, so don’t delay if you would like to be considered.
West Wight Waves:
West Wight Sports and Community Centre are thrilled to be holding West Wight Waves, a sponsored swim event, on Saturday 28th March from 11am until 5pm. This action-packed 6-hour event will bring together swimmers of all ages and abilities to make waves while raising vital funds for West Wight Sports and Community Centre. Their ambitious goal is a huge £15,000 and after the support that Clare has received, they are confident we can reach this.
Whether you’re dipping your toes in or swimming for distance, you can take part — from 5 metres to 5000 metres. Register your interest at reception. Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £20, and there will be prizes for furthest distance, age-group achievements, and top fundraiser.
Application forms can be collected from reception or found on their website West Wight Waves – West Wight Sports and Community Centre, please return your completed form to reception. The closing date for entries is the end of February.
