MUMS GO FREE WITH RED FUNNEL THIS MOTHER’S DAY
This Mother’s Day, Red Funnel are rolling out the red carpet for the special lady in your life, offering free foot passenger travel to the mainland for Mums!
On Sunday 30th March, Red Funnel is offering all Mums free foot passenger travel between West Cowes and Southampton on its Hi-Speed Red Jet service, when Mum is travelling with a paying “child”.
Whether you’re a child aged 5 years old or 50 and travelling with your Mum, Step-Mum or a motherly figure – everyone is welcome to make the most of the Mums Go Free offer.
To qualify, simply purchase any full-priced ticket for the “child” from the West Cowes Red Jet ticket desk and ask for the ‘Mums Go Free offer’ to receive the complimentary foot passenger day return for Mum. If the child travelling is under 5, any other adult ticket will count towards the offer.
Transporting you across the Solent in under 30 minutes, treat Mum to a day out shopping at West Quay. A short walk or taxi ride from the Red Jet Terminal you’ll find Oxford Street and Ocean Village, both great spots for cocktails and a delicious lunch in the city.
For those looking to explore further afield, Southampton’s excellent transport links make it easy to travel to nearby cities. Hop on a train to Winchester, Oxford or London and make it a memorable Mother’s Day out.
You’ll ask find bus and train links to Ashhurst, Beaulieu, Brokenhurst and Lymington, all idyllic towns and villages in the New Forest boasting traditional pubs, independent shops and miles of forest and countryside to explore. Dogs are welcome on the Red Jet too, so no member of the family needs to stay home.
