Situated at West Wight Sports & Community Centre, Wight Climbing is the only climbing wall on the Isle of Wight, the wall offers 7 climbing lines of 6 to 7 metres as well as a traversing wall. It has routes for both beginners and experienced climbers, offering both top roping and lead climbing. Routes are set monthly to keep the wall fresh and exciting.
They offer a range of sessions including private hire for independent climbers, private tuition and school holiday sessions for children aged 7 – 12 years. They also welcome group bookings. Wavier forms are essential for all climbers, they recommend you fill in your wavier form prior to your session, forms can be found on their website or at reception.
Equipment can be hired – helmets, harnesses and belay sets are available. Speak to reception team for more details.
Private hire for independent climbers can be booked up to 9 days in advance.
