A beautifully renovated pub providing fresh tasty food.
The White Lion is owned and run by the Holmes family, and located in the quaint village of Niton. If you’re looking for great home cooked food, a warm atmosphere and local ale, this is the place to be!
Their head chef and kitchen team aim to provide fantastic fresh tasty food, created with as much local produce as possible. The pub provides a relaxing and elegant atmosphere and has maintained its 1 AA Rosette, for the second year running, for their outstanding food & service. They are the only pub on the Isle of Wight, at present, with this award.
On their menu you will find sumptuous roasted meats from local farms, or local fish, accompanied by seasonal veg. You might also like to try their Mac ‘n’ Cheese with wild mushrooms and truffle. On the sweet menu there is a great variety of puddings; cheesecakes, mousse, sticky toffee pudding and locally produced ice creams. On Sundays, the The White Lion serves plated roasts. The pub also has a popular vegan menu including a vegan chocolate brownie.
At The White Lion you will find a great dining experience as well as stunning accommodation. The White Lion boasts 6 beautiful bedrooms, all tastefully decorated with luxury en suite bathrooms.
