The Pump Bar

At the heart of the hotel is a traditional pub The Pump Bar, serving classic bar food and real ales from Goddard’s and Island Ales. The Pump Bar offers relaxed, informal dining with award winning food. Entering the Pump Bar is like taking a step back in time! Quirky, unique and certainly out of the ordinary, the Pump Bar offers variety which, in this case indeed, is truly the spice of life! Flagstones, floorboards, walls adorned with centuries of naval history and nautical themes, the Pump Bar is absolutely packed with character and charm!

The Bistro

Another dining option is The Bistro. The food offering features an array of local food. The style is very Modern British with a regional Isle of Wight twist. The Chefs work hand-in-hand with many local producers crafting dishes such as our legendary IOW Crab Ramekins that is simply a taste of the Wight.

The Aquitania

The Aquitania is an intimate, more formal dining room located at the front of the hotel, that combines good food with modern unfussy service. This dining room pays homage to The Aquitania, which was known as the ship beautiful and has razzle-dazzle camouflage feature wall alongside images of the jet-set. The Aquitania Restaurants currently holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand Award – held over seven consecutive years. the Michelin Bib Gourmand is an award from the famous Michelin Guide for exceptional food at affordable prices that aligned with the restaurant values of quality, affordability and integrity.

Seaview

Seaview has a nostalgic feel as if not much has changed since the Fifties. In the summer, the Solent is teaming with pretty boats, out of season there’s an unspoiled singular charm to the place.

There’s plenty of pretty walks along the coast and the Island is also renowned for good cycling. The hotel is situated 2 minutes from the sea and minutes from Seagrove and Priory Bay. There’s plenty of good old-fashioned fun to be had crabbing, rock-pooling, and beachcombing.

In August, the village plays host to the Seaview Village Regatta which is one of the oldest regattas in England. There are many competitions including sailing, rowing, diving, children’s sports as well as all the hijinx of the greasy pole and tug of war.

Should you wish to travel by public transport, the number 8 bus to Ryde or Newport stops just outside the church.
