Their trips offer a full commentary, giving you an insight into many historical areas and events throughout the Solent area. You will come back with a wealth of knowledge! They also have aboard a fully licensed bar selling alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, snacks and tea/coffee.
The Needles Cruise (NEW for 2026)
Cruise through Cowes Harbour and travel along the Island coastline with views of Hurst Castle and the Victorian Forts. Get up close to the 19th Century active Needles Lighthouse with full commentary throughout the cruise. Bar on board – serving hot/cold drinks and snacks

Two Ports Cruise of Cowes & Portsmouth
Cruise through Cowes Harbour, world famous for yachting out into the Solent with fantastic views of the Island coastline, Osborne House and Norris Castle.
Your cruise then continues on across the eastern Solent with views of the massive sea forts and into the Portsmouth Naval Base, home of the Royal Navy, past and present.

Day Trip to Portsmouth
Or maybe you fancy a day out in Portsmouth? Let Solent Cruises take you on a weekend over and land direct within Gunwharf Quays Waterfront outlet. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is just a 5 minute walk away should you wish to take a closer look at the Warrior, Mary Rose and naval submarines.
You have approximately 5 hours ashore in the day to do as you wish before returning back to Cowes. Alternatively, you can hop on a return boat the following evening and enjoy an overnight stay in Portsmouth.

Every Saturday and Sunday (Weather permitting)
Departs:
Departs at 0930 hours from Thetis Wharf, next to the Floating Bridge, Cowes.
Cowes over to Gunwharf Quays Designer Retail Outlet.
Returns:
Returning at 1600 hours or 1700 from Gunwharf Quays.

Approx five and a half to six and a half hours ashore.
