A wonderfully warm welcome and glorious sea views await you at the popular Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel. A favourite destination for couples, families and of course our 4-legged friends. Here you’ll find a great base for your Isle of Wight holiday.
At Luccombe Manor they focus on the things that make your getaway great, like, super comfy beds to ensure you get a great night’s sleep, and, if you want to make the most of this idyllic location, rooms where you can savour spectacular views of the sea. In the morning, after a fresh invigorating shower, you can take your time over a delicious freshly prepared full English breakfast with an array of fresh fruits, breads, pastries, yoghurts, seeds and nuts to accompany it.
Linger here in our restaurant, lounge or pretty gardens and watch the sun as it rises and dances across the water or the ever-changing boats and yachts out at sea. Take a dip in the outdoor pool or relax in the hot tub. You’ll also find many more facilities across in the garden they share with their adjacent sister hotel Luccombe Hall.
Luccombe Manor is a preferred location for walkers and dog owners as not only are they located on one of the Island’s most popular walking routes – the Sandown to Ventnor cliff path, but there is also direct access to the huge soft sandy beach below. From here you can walk all the way though to Shanklin, Lake, Sandown and even on to the iconic and stunning Culver Down which you can see from the hotel.
For those of you who cannot bear to holiday without your 4-legged friend (they understand, they’re the same!) their award-winning dog friendly hotel offers you a clean, hygienic, comfy place to stay, towels to dry off wet sandy paws, a beautiful park opposite, a dog friendly beach below and even a freshly cooked sausage for breakfast and dog treats throughout the day. Your dog will love it here and make lots of new friends and they’re sure that means you’ll love it too.
They’re family owned and managed by brother and sister team, Steve and Clare, and are absolutely passionate about giving you a great stay to remember. You’ll find every single member of staff happy, caring and going that extra mile for you.
Whether you’re travelling alone, as a couple, with friends or family, you’ll find a room type to suit you, with the option of treating yourself to a sea view room if you want to fully experience this breath-taking location. Plus, there’s also a luxurious 3-bedroom dog friendly self-catering holiday apartment if you’d like all the comforts of home but with the luxury of being away. You get to enjoy the best of both worlds – full hotel service – including breakfast, dinner and room servicing should you choose and of course access to all our leisure facilities and fabulous location, with all the space you might need to chill out and unwind.
For a delicious evening dinner, spectacular views and service, they highly recommend a visit to our adjacent sister hotel Luccombe Hall. Not only can you savour freshly prepared 2 or 3 course meals, but you can also simply opt for a takeaway that you can enjoy here in the hotel restaurant or out in the gardens.
Their fully stocked bar is a lovely place to relax and offers all our guest’s favourites, such as bottled local ales and of course the ever-popular Mermaid gin range. It’s also a wonderful place to indulge with a tasty afternoon tea.
This is an award winning family business. It’s what they do best. They treat you as an individual – just as they’d like to be. They love the Isle of Wight and they believe their location and their team are quite simply the best.
They cannot wait to welcome you and see you sometime soon…
