A complete Isle of Wight Food Experience, at the heart of Arreton Valley.

Harvey Browns sits at the heart of a family run four-generation farm, deep in the Island’s Arreton Valley. They are blessed with some of the regions finest soil and the UK’s sunniest climate, allowing them to grow a rich array of fruits and vegetables. Their signature crop is Isle of Wight Asparagus, but they also grow a substantial range of strawberries, potatoes, squash, brassicas, sweetcorn and grains.

Harvey Browns welcomes visitors to their farm shop, food hall and kitchen. Here you can sit down to enjoy a breakfast or lunch next to beautiful views of their lake, or pop by to shop a large selection of locally sourced produce in the food hall.


Harvey Browns Kitchen

The fully licensed lakeside kitchen at Harvey Browns is the perfect stop for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

The Kitchen opens from 8:30am for breakfast, and offer a full range of breakfasts to suit all tastes. From a classic Full English to Eggs Benedict, as well as cereals, breads and freshly-made pastries.

Lunch is served from midday until 3pm, offering a tasty range of starters, mains, snacks and sides. During the season their signature grilled Arreton Valley Asparagus with crispy egg, hollandaise, confit tomatoes and pesto is a must!

Their menu is seasonal and changes regularly but always offers a full range of veggie, vegan and carnivore options.

You can choose from indoor or outdoor seating on their terrace, including a large covered area overlooking one of the beautiful lakes. Once you’ve been fed and watered, you are welcome to explore the footpaths around their lakes and woodland.

Harvey Browns kitchen also offer gluten free dishes and alternatives, just ask one of the team and they will talk you through a full range of options.

Dogs are welcome outside only.

Bookings are not necessary unless you would like to visit on a Sunday lunchtime, so just come along and they will find you a spot!

Harvey Browns Food Hall

The Food Hall at Harvey Brown’s offers the Island’s finest range of local, regional and international food and drink.

As you enter you will find their extensive deli counter, featuring a range of charcuterie, freshly prepared salad dishes, olives, artisan cheeses and in-house freshly-made pies, pasties, quiches and scotch eggs.

You will also find a full range of breads, sourdoughs and focaccia from a number of local bakers in-store, as well as award-winning local condiments, pickles, mustards, sauces, jams and chutneys, alongside fresh and dried herbs, pastas and pulses.

Throughout the Food Hall are displays of farm grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, together with spectacular displays from famous Arreton Valley neighbours The Tomato Stall and other Island and regional growers.

Before heading on to the Butchery, you will find a delicious range of loose frozen goods from Fieldfare, including ready to bake pastries and the Island’s most extensive range of frozen Cook meals.


Harvey Browns Butchery

At Harvey Browns a team of master butchers will lead you through their extensive range of locally reared beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game.

All of their meats are carefully sourced, properly hung and where appropriate aged in Himalayan salt cabinets to bring out the rich flavour and tenderise the meat.

Whether it is a classic centrepiece roast, their incredible rib-cap burgers or an obscure lesser known cut, Harvey Browns butchers with their extensive knowledge will be able to advise and prepare for you the finest local cuts and meaty treats.
