Brading is one of the Island’s oldest towns, historically referred to as the ‘Kynges Towne’.

The surrounding area has been reclaimed from the sea and Brading was once one of the Isle of Wight’s major ports. Brading is home to some of the Island’s oldest buildings with many interesting and original features, including a Norman church, a nearby Roman Villa and a restored railway station.
