Isle of Wight Carnivals 2022
It’s time to get your ‘carnival on’ and head on down to your local street party…
It is without doubt a celebration of all that is great about the Island, whether you are a resident or a visitor – all come together to marvel at the beautiful and spectacle of floats, dancers and music.
Island towns promise to host an evening of excitement and enjoyment for the whole family. Floats are varied and withhold pageant queens and members from all over the local communities from across the Island.
This is most definitely a bucket list item to tick and once you start dancing, you won’t be able to stop! For that we can’t apologise for!
It is well know to many that Ryde hosts the oldest carnival in the UK, giving us quite a spectacle and never disappointing.
The carnivals are free to attend and are very popular, so make sure you arrive early to grab your viewing spot, as sometimes up to 40,000 people take to the streets to join in the celebrations.
