Fairlee Fireworks set to go off with a BANG!
Friday 3rd November
Gates open at 5pm, entertainment starts at 5:30pm, fireworks at 8:15pm and the event closes at 9pm.
They are so excited to be teaming up with the Isle of Wight Festival and Isle of Wight Radio for the second annual Fairlee Fireworks!
Set at Newport’s festival site, North Fairlee Farm, this is a family event featuring:
- A spectacular firework display
- A fundraising ZipFire (more details below)
- A fire show
- A bonfire
- Live music from local bands
- Children’s entertainment and face painting
- Food vendors and bars
And, what’s more, it will be hosted by the breakfast team at Isle of Wight Radio!

Tickets are limited and must be pre-booked.
Tickets: £5 per person
Under 5s are free and do not require a ticket
Ticket fees only cover the costs of putting on this event, so please donate to Mountbatten in addition to the ticket cost. You can donate when booking your ticket or at the gate on the night.
Please note there will be no public parking on site this year. We will, however, have a very limited number of spaces for disabled badge holders. If you have a badge please e-mail a copy of it to [email protected] to apply for your pass. You must have this pass to access and park on-site.
ZipFire
Shoot across the sky at this year’s Fairlee Fireworks!
On the night, we will be hosting a fundraising ZipFire, and we’re looking for 100 daredevils to get involved!
Our ZipFire is the ultimate charity challenge for thrill seekers – it comprises of a 150m long zipline from a height of 25m. Fire cannons will flame as you ‘fire’ across the site.
A first for the Isle of Wight, be sure to get involved!
Your £30 entry fee covers:
- Entry to Fairlee Fireworks (option to also purchase up to five family and friends tickets)
- On-the-day zip wire briefing
- ZipFire participation
- Framed keepsake photo
- Sponsorship forms and page
All the money you raise in sponsorship will come directly to Mountbatten Isle of Wight, raising vital funds to support people affected by death, dying and bereavement across the Island.

Weight restrictions: Minimum weight: 6 stone (38kg), maximum weight: 17.5 stone (111kg).
