The festive POLAR story continues this December with selected evenings of magical Christmas delight (12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd).
From beautifully illuminated ancient woodland and immersive walk-throughs to live music, a local market and delicious food, the event promises to provide festive cheer this year. Plus, for the first time, the star of the show, Pippa the polar bear, will be joined by a few very special guests from sister park, Blackgang Chine. For your chance to meet Pippa the polar bear, head into the POLAR Hollow where you’ll be invited into a young boy’s dreamworld. All is not as it seems in this immersive, interactive walkthrough; toys come to life and you never know who you could meet along the way. Dodos? Dinosaurs? Fairies? Anything can happen when dreams really do come true.
This year’s event will also see the return of the popular Decoration Workshops and Robin Hill’s beloved outdoor rides will remain open throughout the evening after undergoing their winter makeover. POLAR will go ahead in accordance with Government guidelines and the park’s exemplary COVID-safe measures will remain in-place. There is limited availability and tickets are available online now for just £17.00 per person; with an exclusive 20% discount for Frequent Visitor Pass holders available until 6th November.

The 94th Chale Show promises to be a fantastic mix of entertainment and attractions ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

From motorbike stunt shows and dog agility relay displays in the Main Arena to live bands on the Sunflower Music Stage, their exciting line-up reflects the wonderful diversity of Chale Show.

Chale Show also have the Isle of Wight’s largest Horticultural Marquee. With over 1500 entries showcasing an astounding array of produce, craft,  floral and culinary talent.

The Isle of Wight is about to make motorcycle road racing history for the first time in 2021 with the all-new Diamond Races.

The Diamond Races will take place on a 12.4-mile circuit on the south of the Isle of Wight, with the course incorporating a five-mile blast along the coastal military road. Hold on to your helmets… There’ll be Superbikes, Supersport and lightweight bikes taking part, as well as demo rides of sidecar racing, not to mention an electric category in the future.

The safety of the riders, spectators and officials is paramount to the organisers and the race meeting will be run under strict event regulations stipulated by the sports’ governing body, the ACU (Auto Cycle Union), through which all UK motorcycle sport is administered.

VFM Isle of Wight National Scooter Rally will be returning in 2021 and will return bigger and better.

This really is a weekend not to miss and a must see for any scooter fanatic. Fun for all ages!

The annual Sweetcorn Fayre will be returning at Arreton Barns on the 25th and 26th September 2021.

You can listen to live music and enjoy children’s entertainment as well as snail racing, sweetcorn speed eating, a beer festival at The Dairyman’s Daughter and so much more.

The giant sweetcorn fritter is one not to be missed and say hi to Bob the Cob, Connie Corn and Nora Niblet. A perfect way to spend an autumnal weekend and fantastic family day out.

This is a very popular and traditional fair – one not to be missed.

Family friendly and with lots of exhibits, craft, garden nurseries, conservation, refreshments, and music, Wolverton’s famous garden fair will be relaunched in 2021.

The exhibitors look forward to seeing you on 4th & 5th September 2021, at what they hope to be their best show yet.

Fan TC Con is a great day out for all the family and will return in 2021 to Cowes Enterprise College, Crossfield Avenue, Cowes on Halloween, 30th October 2021 (9am-6pm).

Since 1983, The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival has been held on the third weekend in August every year at our site at The Fighting Cocks Crossroads, just outside of Newchurch. Attended by families young and old, the Island’s Biggest Summer show plays host to star chefs, musicians, local charities and businesses and more from far and wide. With live music, children’s activities and lots of garlic, the show is not to be missed!

With large garlic marquees featuring cookery demos all day long, you can also indulge in plenty of arts and craft stalls, businesses and mouth watering food. You can also enjoy local produce to tempt your taste buds, witness talented animals and arena entertainment.


There is no doubt there is a buzz on the Island during Cowes Week. This is the oldest and largest annual sailing regatta in the World and an iconic feature of the British sporting calendar.

With 8,000 competitors racing and 100,000 spectators who enjoying a fantastic line up of shore-side entertainment day and night, the event boasts an 8-day schedule combining competitive racing and great fun for all ages. You can enjoy the sailing action from the shore or get out on the water aboard a spectator boat. All of this is finished with a grand spectacular of fireworks, which takes place on the final Friday of the event.

Join this festively-fun adventure quest which will allow you and your family to explore and discover fun facts and untold stories in the places where history happened! Hunt for clues and QR codes which reveal quirky tales or sit back and enjoy a hot chocolate or mulled wine in beautiful surroundings.  It’s a great way for the whole family to get out and about in Christmas week.
