Robin Hill Adventure Park Raises £10,000 for Families in Need Through the Robin Hill Fund at WightAID

Robin Hill Adventure Park Raises £10,000 for Families in Need Through the Robin Hill Fund at WightAID

Robin Hill Adventure Park is proud to announce that thanks to the generosity of its visitors last summer and its Mud Runner event in January, the park has raised just over £10,000 for the Robin Hill Fund at WightAID, a community initiative dedicated to supporting families in need across the Isle of Wight.

The Robin Hill Fund, managed in partnership with the WightAID Foundation, provides financial grants through schools to local families and individuals facing hardship. Funds are used to assist with essential living costs, educational needs, wellbeing support, and other vital community services that help improve quality of life on the Island.

John Smith, Co-owner and CFO of Robin Hill, said:

“We’re absolutely thrilled by the generosity of our visitors last summer and from our Mud Runner competitors in January who contributed £2 of their ticket cost to WightAID and supported the raffle organised by our fundraising committee. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference to supporting families who need it most. Being part of the Isle of Wight community means a great deal to us, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help support local families through the Robin Hill Fund.”

Nik Attfield, Chair of the Robin Hill Fund Committee, added:

“This incredible contribution will go directly to families who need it most. Through our partnership with WightAID and local Isle of Wight schools, we’re able to identify where support is most urgently required and ensure that funds are distributed quickly and effectively. We’d like to thank everyone who donated, your kindness is helping transform lives right here on the Island.”

The Robin Hill Fund operates as part of the WightAID Foundation’s network of charitable funds. Money raised through Robin Hill events, visitor donations, and community initiatives is ring-fenced for local support projects on the Isle of Wight.

How to apply

Families and individuals can apply for a Robin Hill grant through local island schools, ensuring the process remains community-focused, accessible, and supportive.  Each application is reviewed to ensure that funds are awarded fairly and where they can have the greatest impact.
