Held on the first Friday and first Sunday of every month, our Race Series offers drivers the opportunity to compete in organised championships against racers from across the Isle of Wight and the South Coast, including Portsmouth, Southampton, Petersfield and Guildford.
Whether you’re looking to develop your driving skills or begin your motorsport journey, our Race Series provides competitive, friendly racing in professionally organised events throughout the year.
Junior Race Series
Designed for young drivers looking to progress into competitive karting.
Entry requirements:
- Drivers aged 8-11 who have completed our Level 5 Junior Track Day Certificate, or
- Drivers aged 12-15.
Lightweight Adult Race Series
Ideal for lighter drivers wanting close, competitive racing.
Entry requirements:
- Drivers aged 12-15 who have completed our Level 5 Junior Track Day Certificate, or
- Drivers aged 16+ weighing under 74kg.
Adult Race Series
Competitive outdoor karting for adult drivers.
Entry requirements:
- Drivers aged 16 years and over.
Junior karting and driver development
For younger racers looking to improve their skills, Wight Karting offers Junior Track Days throughout the year. These professionally structured sessions help children build confidence, improve racecraft and progress through a series of development levels before moving into our competitive Race Series.
It’s the perfect introduction to motorsport for children aged 8-15 years.
Dog friendly karting
Bringing your dog along? Wight Karting is proud to be dog friendly. Our secure and shaded Mutt Pit provides complimentary kennels while you enjoy your race. Simply bring your dog’s bed or blanket and a water bowl so they can relax while you take to the track.
