What better way to see some of the Island coastline than by water! Solent Cruises can offer just that.
From a 2 ½ hour cruise around the Solent and over to Portsmouth or a full day landing cruise over to Portsmouth to see the Historic Naval Dockyard, or maybe do a spot of shopping at Gunwharf Quays Waterfront Outlet, Solent Cruises have just what you need.
All of their trips offer a full commentary giving you an insight into many historical areas and events throughout the Solent area. Their 2 ½ hour cruise departs on a Wednesday and Thursday from Cowes and is a non landing cruise going along the coastline to see the likes of Norris Castle, Ryde’s famous ¾ mile pier and the forts out in the Solent. Solent Cruises will then take you into Portsmouth Naval Harbour for a tour from the water of the warships in Port as well as the cross channel ferry port and the submarine museum. You will come back with a wealth of knowledge. They also have aboard a full licensed bar selling alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, snacks and tea/coffee.
Or maybe you fancy a day out in Portsmouth? Let Solent Cruises take you on a weekend over and land direct within Gunwharf Quays Waterfront outlet. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is just a 5 minute walk away should you wish to take a closer look at the Warrior, Mary Rose and naval submarines. You have approximately 5 hours ashore to do as you wish before returning back to Cowes.
They offer free parking in their yard at Cowes for those travelling with them.
