Grazer’s Café is located within the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, between Godshill and Ventnor, on the outskirts of Wroxall towards the south of the Isle of Wight. Grazer’s Café is the ‘Icing on the Cake’ (literally!) at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. The café is set in a beautifully converted barn overlooking the Wroxall Valley to the South and donkey yards and paddocks to the North. Grazers has indoor room for 75 people and additional outdoor space in a sun patio for 20 people and in the café courtyard for a further 50 visitors.

The Grazer’s Team serve hot and cold meals and snacks from 10.00am – 4.30pm, every day of the year, winter, and summer, apart from Christmas Day. Hot food is served until 3:45pm. The café has a full breakfast menu ranging from The Donkey Sanctuary Farmhouse Breakfast (to challenge even the biggest appetite) to delicious pastries, all served with piping hot Lavazza coffee, hot chocolate, or tea.

Lunchtime sees the full range of snacks such as Paninis, homemade quiches, freshly made sandwiches with locally sourced ingredients all served with delicate salads – or of course chips, sweet potatoes, or jacket potatoes with various fillings. Full meals and speciality sweets are on offer each day.

Afternoons are characterized by delicious cream teas, ‘treat yourself cakes and hot drinks.

Grazers has the relaxed atmosphere of the Island’s donkey sanctuary, combined with the highest quality food and service. It is a café with a great reputation, achieving some outstanding reviews and offering food and drink for singles, couples, families and groups.

Browse and Brays Gift shop at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary has a variety of gifts and souvenirs, all related to the donkeys! Stationary, Clothing, Household, Food and of course Donkey Adoptions, the main source of fundraising for the sanctuary.

A visit to Grazers and Browse and Brays is all about giving and receiving. You receive nice food or gifts and in so doing you are giving to a worthwhile cause-supporting rescued animals who themselves work and support local charities and causes in the Island community.

Trip Advisor reviews:

Such a special little place. The donkeys looked so happy and well cared for. We really enjoyed walking around and reading the descriptions of each donkey. Free admission but we donated and spent money in the lovely gift shop – Laura
