This family glamping site has four spacious well-equipped, beautifully furnished Safari Lodges, (each sleeping 6-8 people), set within a pair of interlinking meadows. Situated between Yarmouth and Freshwater in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, all lodges have gorgeous views over the River Yar and countryside. Enjoy the serenity while being only minutes away from Yarmouth, great restaurants, glorious beaches, and numerous holiday activities.
The site is surrounded by footpaths, including the Freshwater Way, and the Yarmouth-Freshwater trail, but many will take you further afield if you want to explore further. Bridlepaths and cycle routes, are also on the doorstep and this is the only holiday location offering direct access to the River Yar through their farm, for canoeing and paddleboarding. The Yar estuary is one of the most picturesque and safest places to paddleboard on the South Coast and is perfect for beginners as well as seasoned boarders.
The lodges are off grid but have solar powered lighting (inc.USB points!), wood burning stoves, oven with hotplate, gas hob, gas fridge, 2 flushing loos, outside shower, and the piece de resistance, a free-standing slipper bath. An elevated deck with swing chair gives the perfect spot to relax. At night, gather around the campfire and make wonderful memories. Lanterns and fairy lights make everything magical, and the luxurious beds with luxury cotton linen and soft blankets keep everyone cosy for a perfect night’s sleep.
