After a record-breaking year, it’s back for 2024 and with a new accolade to boot – Walk the Wight is officially the Island’s Best Event!
Last year, Walk the Wight raised a phenomenal £460,000 to support Island people with Mountbatten’s expert 24/7 care, and now, we need your help to do it all over again!

With multiple routes to suit all ages and abilities, Walk the Wight offers something for everyone, and the scenery is simply sensational.
Entry is £10 per person and includes:
* Entry to your chosen route.
* An event pack, walker number, sponsor form and progress card.
* A medal at the finish line.
Extras:
You can purchase a Walk the Wight T-shirt to wear on the day (£8), a refillable Walk the Wight water bottle (£12) or a bandana for your dog (£5).
Fundraising:
Your entry fee only covers the cost of putting on the event. To make a real difference to the Islanders we support, we ask that you raise as much as you can in sponsorship. We have set a target of £200 as something to aim for.
