Isle of Wight Pride
Isle of Wight Pride began in 2017, with the first pride parade on the Island on 15th July. The Island also hosted UK Pride in 2018 after winning a competition to host the event, which moves around the UK each year.
The charity was formed on the principles of promoting equality and diversity for the public benefit, the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, raising awareness to the public about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of LGBTQIA+ people, cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity and staging an annual LGBTQIA+ festival.
Isle of Wight Pride are delighted to announce they will be returning to the beach in Ryde for another incredible weekend!
