Royal Isle of Wight County Show 2021

Starts in

3 July 2021 to 4 July 2021

Isle of Wight County Showground

Isle of Wight County Showground, Cowes Road, Northwood PO30 5TP

Enjoy a right rural day out at the Island’s County Show!

Animals are the stars of the Show: cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, alpacas, ducks, chickens… if it’s got legs or wings, you’ll find it here.  The local farmers fight it out every year to win rosettes and trophies, and the Grand Parade of all the winning animals brings the Show to a spectacular and very noisy finale.

This is an entertaining, family day out. There are gun dogs and falconry displays, loads of tractors, a speed sheep shearing competition, and horses galore. Superstar horse Red Rum came to visit one year and in 2019 we welcomed the Household Cavalry to our Show.

It’s a Show for all the senses – there are lots of opportunities to see, hear, smell, touch and taste.

You can drive a 4×4, herd a pig, enter your dog into our fun dog show, and tuck into tasty local food. You can also talk to experts about everything from keeping chickens to growing camelias. There’s so much for children to do too, including stroking baby animals, making pizza faces, clay pigeon shooting and tractor rides.
