Isle of Wight Story Festival
The IW Story Festival is being held at Quay Arts, Newport and runs from the evening of Thursday 20th February to 5pm Saturday 22nd February 2025.
It is a festival for children & young people which celebrates story in many forms with author talks, puppetry, theatre, storytelling, dance, and creative workshops.
Prepare to meet leading children’s authors and hear how they have created their books. Watch mesmerising puppetry and dance. Be challenged by thought provoking theatre. Listen to captivating storytelling, Join in creating new stories, new characters and new tales.
The 2025 IW Story Festival is the place to come to, to be inspired by story in its many forms, with affordable ticket prices, (from £4-£6) in a central accessible IW location with something on offer for children and young people aged 3 – 18.
Aged 12+? then come along on Thursday evening for gritty theatre, cutting edge talks, aimed at young people.
If you are aged 3-11, Friday and Saturday are for you. Sessions are about 45 minutes long and begin at 10am and finish by 5pm.
Tickets on sale from 1st December. Lineup will be announced on social media and website in late November.
