Isle of Wight Literary Festival
The Isle of Wight Literary Festival will take place on Thursday 11th October – Sunday 14th October. Most of the activities take place in and around Northwood House, a Grade II* listed manor house set in over 20 acres of Park in the heart of Cowes.
Now in its seventh year, the Literary Festival is a non-profit making charitable trust. Over time the Festival has gone from strength to strength and has had a wide range of speakers from Max Hastings to Mary Berry, Michael Morpurgo to Deborah Moggach, Andrew Marr to Val McDermid.
In a change to previous years, this year’s Youth Zone, the Festival’s children’s programme, will take place on Friday 19th October – Sunday 21st October in Northwood House. For ages 4-18, the expanded Youth Zone will feature authors, performances, storytelling, workshops, inventions, forest school, competitions and much more.
