Alvington Manor Farm – Carisbrooke

Alvington Manor Farm is a Bed and Breakfast located just outside Newport. The 17th Century Manor house is just off the famous Tennyson walking trail -perfect for those wishing to explore the Island by foot. We have 5 en-suite bedrooms, all of which have colour TV’s, tea & coffee making facilities and there is a guest sitting room, car parking and gardens.

Alvington Manor Farm is open all year.

The house is a stones throw from Carisbrooke Castle too, surrounded in beautiful countryside with great food Pubs nearby. Guests have access to a large garden, secure off-road parking and a village shop is only 10 minutes walk away.

In May 2015 Piers-View were presented with a Silver Award for high quality of accommodation and customer service. Keats Cottage B&B – Shanklin

The house was named after John Keats, an English Romantic poet who stayed at the then named Eglatine Cottage in the summer of 1819 and wrote some of his poems at this very property. His poetry, as well as Blake’s, Shelley’s, Byron’s and Tennyson’s after whom further rooms are named, is readily available at Keats Cottage.

Steeped in history and with parts of the building over 400 years old, Keats Cottage has been lovingly refurbished. All the rooms are equipped with modern amenities and we offer crisp linen, fluffy towels and luxurious toiletries. We believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you can enjoy a traditional English breakfast consisting of organic ingredients sourced from nearby farms as well as home-made bread & jams, delicious omelettes, creamy porridge or vitamin packed fruit smoothies to name just a few options!
