PART 2 – Holiday Parks of the South Coast of the Isle of Wight
Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park – Ventnor
This friendly family holiday park is located within 14 acres of lush secluded grounds, surrounded by beautiful open countryside. Offering static caravan and self catering apartments as well as extensive camping and touring facilities close to the seaside town of Ventnor. On-site there is a small shop open from April to October, a cafe which opens seasonally with takeaway service as well as a bar, games rooms , outdoor heated pool and toddlers pool plus a kids play park and crazy golf activities. The park has family family entertainment on during the spring bank holiday week and during peak season. A perfect park for lovers of walking and cycling as there are many trails to be found near by.
Riviera Park Self Catering Apartments – Bonchurch
Close to the picturesque village of Bonchurch near Ventnor this relaxing holiday park offers a number of self catering apartments. The park has an indoor pool and Outdoor Tennis court to keep you amused and is only a short walk along the coastal path to Ventnor and its famous botanic gardens along with a selection of good restaurants and bars for when you don’t fancy cooking. The park also has WiFi for it’s guests use.
Meadowview Holidays – Niton
The perfect park for a relaxing countryside break on the south coast, Meadowview has a number of static caravan holiday homes available all with magnificent panoramic countryside views. Close by is the village of Niton with it’s pretty thatched and stone cottages as well as a shop, tearoom and popular pub serving good food in a friendly atmosphere. The beach of Ventnor and Town of Newport are both but a short drive away.

Ninham Country Holidays – Shanklin

A family run holiday park who’s aim is to provide an unspoiled countryside atmosphere where our guests can enjoy a relaxed holiday. The park has a number of great static caravan holiday homes to choose from and with a no car policy in the park itself you are assured your children can play safely in one of the three on-site children’s park. For the grown ups there is a club house with sun terrace and during season there is nightly entertainment and kids clubs to enjoy, adjoined to the club house is a games room with video games, arcade and pool tables. WiFi is available to all guests.
Fort Holiday Park – Sandown
A family holiday park tucked away in a quite spot in Sandown with countryside views and yet just a short stroll from the beach and attractions. The park has a playground with slide and swigs and with a no car on site policy parents can let children play with peace of mind. There are a number of caravans available on site in all shapes and size to suite every budget and the park also accept short breaks including 1 night stays off peak season. WiFi available for guests use.
Fort Spinney – Sandown
Located a stones through from the beach and a short walk to the main town and shops, this park has a range of self catering holiday bungalows available sleeping from 2 – 8 people . Fort Spinney offers so much and the main selling point is you will wake up in the morning to the sea air with no hustle and bustle. You have a glorious beach and cliff walks right from the entrance of the site. The quality of the accommodation on offer is very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
2 parks in the heart of Shanklin town and close to the beach, shops and attractions. The parks share facilities including Club House with entertainment, full kids programmes and indoor and outdoor pool, water flume , sports court along with restaurant, bar and takeaway. Landguard offers the quieter of the two parks with a selection of caravans and lodges to holiday in a relaxing woodland area. at Lowerhyde there are caravan holiday homes as well as Camping and Touring facilities and the park is geared up for the more active families with non stop fun filled activities to keep the kids amused all day.
