Waxham House is a large detached house situated in a residential area of Ryde. The Victorian Building is arranged on 2 floors to the main house with a single storey extension. Our rooms are bright and tastefully decorated and we offer easily accessible bathrooms and toilets. There is a large lounge area, sun lounge and dining room. Access to the first floor is made easy by a four person lift, whilst on the main gracious stairway is a chair lift to the mezzanine floor. Waxham House has a pleasant garden to the rear which again has easy access.

Family and friends are always assured a warm welcome at any time they choose to visit Waxham House. There are no restriction on visiting and service users can use their own rooms or lounge areas to receive their guests.

The Aims of Waxham House are to create a family atmosphere in an ordinary home in which problems and disabilities are no longer the focus of attention and to provide all the necessary care and attention for those who wish to spend their retirement in a secure and caring environment.

The ethos of our establishment is to promote an environment and atmosphere as homely as possible, where our residents feel that Waxham House is their home. We also aim to provide and environment and quality of care which is second to none, where residents have the opportunity to enhance the quality of their life and stimulate them, intellectually and emotionally.
