The Hazelwood is a four star no-smoking guest house. It is a Victorian detached house situated within a quiet, attractive road just a short walking distance from the beach, the town centre and railway station. In May 2010 The Hazelwood was presented with a coveted silver award from Visit England.

The Hazelwood is run by Karl Stedman and Phil Ramage. We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Karl is an artist whose original artwork is displayed around the house and within guest rooms, all of which have en-suite toilets, shower and washbasins, along with televisions and hot drink making facilities. There is a choice of Full English or Vegetarian Breakfast. Fresh fruit and yoghurts are always available, as well as a wide range of jams, spreads and preserves.

Many of our guests choose to return to us again and again.

The Hazelwood is the ideal base for your stay on the Isle of Wight. We took over the Hazelwood in June 2006 after running a successful guest house in Brighton for 8 years.
