Strand House has two beautifully appointed, well equipped and extremely comfortable non-smoking apartments available for use throughout the year - The Garden Apartment and The Crows Nest - each suitable for 4-6 guests.

The Crows Nest - for those with a head for heights - gives the most spectacular views over the Solent. The Garden Apartment on the ground floor provides direct access to our lawned garden through patio doors, and in addition to the standard facilities, has a small utility room with a washing machine/dryer. Both apartments have: -2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two full size adult single beds) -a comfortable lounge with colour TV, DVD player, futon/bed-settee (double), and double sofa -open-plan kitchen with full-sized electric cooker, micro-wave oven and fridge, washing machine with dryer -dining area with table and chairs -private bathroom (with bath) -central heating and hot water (inclusive) -bed linen (inclusive) -use of the garden -private off-street parking (Please note that both apartments are strictly non-smoking and pets are not allowed)

Apart from the obvious pleasures of the sandy beach and the long promenade at the end of our garden, within a couple of minutes you could also be: Swimming in the heated nearby glass-roofed pool, taking a boat trip from the yacht marina, feeding the swans on the mini boating lake, tenpin bowling, playing pitch & putt, taking your children on the trampolines or to the mini funfair, ice-skating, outdoor bowling, working out at the local gym or catching the dotto train up Ryde High Street. Its great for those who would prefer to leave the car behind occasionally and particularly in the evening as its so easy to stroll into town for the many cafes, excellent quality bars and restaurants. Convenient local services and shops are within 2 minutes walking distance including a grocers and newsagents. Major banks and shops in the town are less than 10 minutes walk and there is also a cinema. Local connections are all within easy reach of 5-10 minutes walking including Ryde bus and train station, Catamaran to Portsmouth and Hovercraft to Southsea. You can get absolutely anywhere!
