The house is situated across the former farmyard from the attractive and historic Rookley Farm House.

The Lodge, which sleeps ten people, has an acre of garden giving onto fields grazed by sheep and spectacular views in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Site of Special Scientific Interest. The River Medina (a stream at this point) passes one field away from the Lodge. The Lodge lies half a mile off the road between Rookley and Niton in a quiet, rural location of exceptional beauty, ideal for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, or anyone seeking a holiday in unspoilt English countryside, whilst giving easy access to all points of the Isle of Wight. Free lake fishing and daily farmyard animal-feeding are available 10 minutes’ walk away.
