Rookley Country Park has two mature, well-stocked coarse fishiing lakes that are ideal for experts and beginners alike. So why not pack your rods and tackle and while away a lazy day by the lakeside?
Our small lake of around one acre, is a general coarse fishing lake containing a variety of species including Roach, Rudd, Perch, Golden Tench, Mirror, Common and Crucian Carp.

The specimen lake is around two acres and is aimed towards the more serious Carp angler. This lake contains Mirror and Common Carp to over 30lbs, plus plenty of Roach, Rudd and Perch. The current lake record is 40lb 2oz and there are around 120 fish over 20lb. This lake would be classed as moderate to difficult, but hit it right and you could beat the record.
