Rookley Country Park

Situated at the heart of the Isle of Wight, Rookley Country Park offers unrivalled on-site accommodation and facilities, and easy access to all the great attractions the Island has to offer

Rookley Country Park is the Isle of Wight’s premier holiday park, offering an unrivalled selection of accommodation, activities and facilities for all the family. The park is set in the quiet village of Rookley, nestled amongst rolling hills and down land, but only a short journey to the coast.

All of our on-site activities and amenities are located centrally overlooking our tranquil fishing lakes and landscaped gardens. Our selection of modern bungalows and caravans are all attractively sited with the added benefit of secure parking.

We offer a wide range of eating options, from pizza and light snacks to dinner at our Lakeside Restaurant and terrace. Later you can watch one of our weekly firework displays (peak season only), the dance the night away in our Midnight Bar. During the day picnic in the grounds, or while away an hour or two fishing in well-stocked lakes. If it’s fun and games you’re after there’s so much for the family to do at Rookley Country Park!

Around Rookley

Sandown

A must for sun seekers, Sandown is the ideal spot for a day at the seaside. Take a stroll along the pier with its amusements and rides, visit the Isle of Wight Zoo or Dinosaur Isle, or stroll along Sandown’s miles of soft sandy beaches.

Newport

Situated in the centre of the Island and its principal town, Newport is its most popular shopping centre, with small exclusive shops, major brands and superstores. There’s a wide range of entertainment, from a multi-screen cinema to a host of bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Carisbrooke Castle provides the main focus of its historical interest.

Godshill

The quintessential English village, Godshill’s thatched cottages, tea rooms and traditional pubs make it a haven for those in search of old-world charm. Overlooking the village is the magnificent 15th Century church, among the 10 most visited in the UK.
