Sandown Bay The Riviera Hotel is a friendly family run hotel situated close to the beach. Sandown has long golden sandy beaches where you can find plenty of water sports. crazy golf, pitch 'n' putt, Dinosaur Isle and the zoo with it's famous tiger sanctuary. All this is within walking distance from the hotel. So make the most of our free car park and explore the wonders of Sandown and all it has to offer young and old alike. The hotel is also only a 2 minute walk from the leisure centre and all it's facilities for those of you who sampled too much ice cream!

For those people who travel to the Island by train we are only a short walk from Sandown station, and 100yds from the bus stop from where you can explore our beautiful Island at your leisure.


The Riviera Hotel Bar The Bar has a range of lunchtime snacks that can be purchased from freshly made sandwiches and rolls, to chips and burgers, all at very reasonable prices. There is also morning coffee and afternoon tea available on request.

In the evening the bar comes alive with nightly live entertainment, from approximately 8.30pm. Sandwiches and hot drinks are available throughout the evening up to 12.00 midnight. A totally relaxed feeling fills the atmosphere.

The Restaurant

At the Riviera we take great pride in our friendly restaurant, offering a varied and exciting menu, with a superb selection of traditional and continental style cuisine, succulent roasts, tantalising fish dishes, home made pies and pasties plus a mouth-watering selection of traditional home made desserts.

Vegetarian? No problem. We offer a different freshly cooked vegetarian dish on the menu every evening and of course if you prefer something lighter, you can always select from our self-service salad table.

If you would like a glass or bottle of wine with your meal, we offer a delightfully varied selection of quality wines at very reasonable prices
