The hotel lays in its own grounds whilst retaining the peace and tranquillity of its rural setting only a few minutes walk from the centre of Old Shanklin Village, and Rylstone Gardens . The hotel is a short walk from the famous Shanklin cliffs giving panoramic view over some of the islands most beautiful beaches. The Hotel is situated at the top of the popular Shanklin Chine which is open daily to the public.

The hotel boasts no less than 38 large spacious bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms each room is equipped with radio and colour television with tea and coffee making facilities. The accommodation consists of twin, double or family sized rooms, that allows parties, of any size to be catered for.

The hotel has a licensed bar and the Restaurant which can cater for over 100 guest. The licensed restaurant is open each day with meals served between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and offers first class meals. Special dietary needs can be accommodated ensuring that all the guest have an enjoyable meal.

Among the hotels many amenities there is a large function room with dance floor and small stage ideal for all types of functions. The function room overlooks the gardens and the heated swimming pool. The hotel boasts an area for the younger guests equipped with games and pool table giving them the chance to enjoy themselves whilst mum & Dad relax in the bar. We are situated on the outskirts of Old Shanklin Village at the top of the Chine close to Rylstone Gardens and Appley steps which lead down to the beaches. There is amply parking in our private car park for cars and coaches. Regular buses stop at the end of priory road giving access to the whole Island.

The Hotel offers a full travel package which includes ferry crossing
booking and if required transportation from Shanklin Station by the
hotel courtesy bus, if available.
