From this secluded location, all the attractions of the seaside can be found just a few minutes away at Shanklin, the Isle of Wight's premier beach resort. Whether you are camping & caravanning or opt to stay in one of our self-catering properties, Ninham is the perfect base for discovering the many sights and attractions of the Island. In fact, you don't even have to leave the Park to start exploring. Various footpaths and bridleways lead from the park providing delightful walks and cycle routes to some of the Island's most scenic countryside. |
CAMPING & CARAVANNING Low density allocated pitches, beautiful surroundings and relaxed ambiance has always been the main attribute of our touring Park. There are two touring areas set either side of the wooded valley at Ninham, with separate wash facilities for each, the swimming pool, laundry & games room are central to both. Willow Brook caters for pets, with miles of footpaths accessible directly from site. All-service pitches are available on both areas The large, spacious pitches can cater for the majority of modern units ranging from a mammoth dome tents to large motor homes. Pitches are level with electric hook-ups and there is a central motor-home 'dump station' and water point. The beaches of Shanklin & Sandown are only a 20 minute walk or 10 min cycle ride away along a traffic free tarmac bridleway  FINDING US Our private drive is off the Newport – Sandown road A3056 We advise the following for towed units: Arrivals from the Cowes / Yarmouth direction :Go past the park entrance and proceed 400 metres to Morrisons Supermarket roundabout, turn 180 degrees and return turn left onto the private drive. From Ryde / Fishbourne direction: Take the A3055 and turn onto the A3056 at Lake. Continue for 1km, passing over the Morrisons Supermarket roundabout, the drive is 400 metres further on your left.
