We do offer out of season short breaks.
The original farmhouse was converted some years ago into three fully self-contained and comfortably furnished self-catering apartments; Oats, Barley and Wheat. Many of our guests have enjoyed staying with us so much they have returned year after year to holiday at Nettlecombe Farm on the Isle of Wight . Of course we are delighted by this, but it gave us a problem as we had to turn many new enquiries away.
In 2003, to help alleviate this problem, we converted the barns and stables across the farmyard, to provide four additional high quality self-catering holiday cottages; Wren, Heron, Robin and Swallow.
We are happy to say that these have been equally popular amongst our guests, and we look forward to welcoming you and your families to Nettlecombe Farm.

FISHING
The three lakes are only 150 yards away from Nettlecombe Farm House. They cover an area of 1.5 acres of water, the lakes are well-stocked with carp, roach and tench of various sizes. In all they give the experienced angler good sport and the novice a chance to catch fish.
The lakes are open to the public at a charge of £4 per rod per day. Guests staying at Nettlecombe Farm can fish free of charge. We do not hire equipment so please bring your own. We ask that you use only barb-less hooks. Use of landing nets is appreciated; keep nets are not permitted.
A NRA licence is required and obtainable from the Post Office.
