The hotel is family owned and run and we offer a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere.

The Mayfair occupies an unrivalled position with views across Sandown bay to Culver down and cliff.

The large, sea facing sun terrace and gardens, offer the perfect place to sit and enjoy a cool drink on a summer\'s day whilst watching the many ocean going liners pass by. On colder days, our comfortably furnished Lounge bar offers panoramic views from behind the shelter of the picture windows.

The Isle of Wight boasts a congenial climate throughout the year and during low and mid season we offer Monday to Friday and Friday to Sunday or Monday short breaks.

During late October, November and early December we offer traditional Tinsel & Turkey breaks. We also celebrate the New Year with guests arriving on the 30th December for 3 nights Dinner, bed and breakfast and nightly entertainment.
