A pleasant ten-minute stroll through the beech copse and across the fields leads to the centre of Godshill. This village is renowned for its church and pretty thatched cottages.

Very attractively situated, beside the water, with beautiful open views to the sea across Bembridge Harbour. It is one of a small number of properties on a causeway, between the harbour and the water meadows, linking the seaside villages of St Helens and Bembridge. The centre of St. Helens, with its attractive village green, public house, shop and restaurants, is within a 5 minute walk.
New Cottage – Sleeps 6 in 4 bedrooms
Lovely thatched cottage close to village centre in attractive rural area within 5 minutes drive of the coast where there are small attractive coves and the seaside resort of Ventnor. In wonderful walking and cycling area. Attractive fenced garden. Public house within 5 minutes walk. Please be aware that in 2013 a cottage is being built adjacent to The Barn Whitwell. The walls are already in place. We are unsure when it will be completed and in view of this we are offering visitors a discount of £50 per week from prices shown as a good will gesture for any inconvenience caused.

This pretty stone cottage is situated on a lovely 12 acre farm, surrounded by beautiful open countryside. Delightful walks can be enjoyed directly from the cottage and footpaths can be followed to join the Bembridge Trail over the downs. Squire Thatcher's Barn has been carefully converted from an 18th Century Grade II Listed stone barn.

This spacious self-contained wing of Clatterford House - a Grade II listed house, within the hamlet of Clatterford, occupies a lovely position, on high ground, overlooking the beautiful valley of Bowcombe. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with country lanes and footpaths leading to the nearby castle of Carisbrooke and to the downs which join the Tennyson Trail to the Needles. Public house, italian restaurant and general stores with a 10 minute walk. Good central position makes it ideal for touring the island.

The Old Stable is nestled in a lovely peaceful location in the attractive rural of village of Shorwell with fields and the downs extending from its garden. The centre of the village is within a 2 minute walk with its beautiful 17th century church, village shop and a public house which offers a good location for a meal. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are wonderful downland walks directly from the cottage. Shorwell is less than a 5 minute drive from the pretty coastal village of Brighstone where there is a quiet beach.

This lovely stone cottage is situated in the small rural hamlet of Bowcombe which stands between the pretty village of Shorwell and Carisbrooke with its medieval castle. Shorwell and Carisbrooke are both within a 5 minute drive and have public houses which are good for meals. The cottage offers easy access to the small bays and coves on the south west side of the Isle of Wight. The larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are within a 20 minute drive.

This delightful stone cottage which dates back
to 1761 is built of Isle of Wight chalk and brick. It is situated in
lovely countryside on an attractive farm at Merstone. The picturesque
village of Godshill is nearby and the sandy beaches of Sandown and
Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.
