The property is located in the hamlet of Sandford, just a mile from the popular village of Godshill and 3 miles from the attractive seaside town of Shanklin. Godshill is the quintessential English village, with its charming thatched-roofed cottages, delightful medieval church and a winding main street lined with tearooms.

The village itself is host to many attractions including the Model Village and The Old Smithy, a former blacksmiths forge, which is now a tearoom, gift shop and fashion boutique. Contributing to the village's old-world charm are numerous shops offering local crafts and produce, such as ciders, pickles, mustards and biscuits. There is also a handful of traditional pubs, suitable for all the family.

For a greater selection of amenities, Shanklin is only a 5 minute drive away. The town is famed for its good weather, safe sandy beach and the picturesque Old Village. The seafront is the focal point of the town with several eating establishments and pubs. In the summer months a small road train provides a service to the town centre and Old Village.
