The Isle of Wight may well look small in comparison to the rest of the UK; in fact it is 23 miles by 13. However, in this space we can offer over 60 attractions and over 500 miles of footpaths and bridleways, large areas of open Downland and some of the most beautiful beaches in England. I doesn’t matter what time of year you visit the Island or your age group, there is always something to see and do. We have theme parks such as Blackgang Chine close to St Catherine’s lighthouse; The Needles Park at the western most point of the Island which is famous for the coloured sands at Alum Bay and Robin Hill Country Park in the centre of the Island which is a large park of 88 acres offering beautiful walks through woodland and some superb park rides.
