IBN – Island Business Network

The Island Business Network is a collective of business people who pass business and referrals to fellow members.

Business on the Island, perhaps more than anywhere else in the UK, is very often obtained by personal recommendation and word of mouth. The Island Business Network Members pass referrals between one another, which they have been able to identify through the course of their working week.

We only admit one member per profession or trade, so make sure that you join and benefit before competitor does.

The Island Business Network, IBN, meet at the Riverside Centre in Newport every Thursday for a breakfast meeting. Each member has 60 seconds to talk about their own business each week, often concentrating on special areas of their business that they think that the other members would be interested in.

Each week, one member has the opportunity to give a 10 minute presentation about their business or industry, to let the other members know about how they can benefit from using the services available. The meetings are run in a friendly, semi-formal manner with the emphasis on making each meeting fun and enjoyable. If you wish to come along to one our meetings as a visitor, please contact any of the members on the members page. They will be pleased to give you any information you may require.
