Brockley Barns shelters at the foot of Alvington Down. Two converted 18th century barns offer 4 cottages for holiday rental. Bluebell and Buttercup are single storey and Daisy and Lavender are on 2 floors. Each cottage allows for wheelchair access on the ground floor.
In all cottages the Lounge and Kitchen are open plan and the Kitchen is fully equipped, including fridge, dishwasher, microwave, hob and electric oven.
Bluebell - One double Bedroom, one double-bunk Bedroom, comfortable double sofa-bed in living area. The large Bathroom has a corner bath with seat and shower over the bath
Buttercup - One double Bedroom, one double-bunk Bedroom, comfortable double sofa-bed in living area. The large Shower Room has a walk or wheel-in shower.
Daisy - Two double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower and wc), one twin bedroom, one double sofa bed in the main living area. The large bathroom has a corner bath with seat. The dining area sits up to 8 people.
LAVENDER - Our fourth Cottage, Lavender, has a ground floor double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the first floor are a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, and a large open plan area with 2 single beds,. There is a comfortable double sofa bed in the Lounge.
 The cottages have central heating, TV/VCR, radio/CD player and all crockery, cutlery, linen, towels, etc are provided. All cottages have their own patio and a barbeque area is available.
Brockley Barns shelters at the foot of Alvington Down. To the north and west stretch Parkhurst Forest and Yarmouth Bay and all around is traditional farmland. The county town of Newport is less than 2 miles away and even closer are small grocery stores and friendly pubs with excellent food and entertainment. The road into town is overlooked by Carisbrooke Castle.
Families are welcome and there is a play area for children, who can also meet our sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens.
