Hopecliff is a family run guest house situated in a quiet road just off the coastal path, an ideal base for walkers with well documented footpaths and trails. We are situated just outside the town centre and within a few minutes walk of Shanklin train station with its rail links to Sandown and Ryde, a regular open topped bus service stops just at the end of the road with links and tours to the rest of the island, so we are in the ideal location to either enjoy all that Shanklin has to offer or be a bit more adventurous and explore the rest of the lovely Isle of Wight. Hopecliff was refurbished a couple of years ago and we are still striving to improve things even further, we know that you will love our beautiful well equipped rooms. The accommodation briefly comprises of a double room with en-suite bath/shower room to the ground floor, which may suit those of you who don’t want to be running up and down the stairs. On the 1st floor we have a beautiful four-poster room with en-suite bathroom and sea views, a double room with its own private shower room and a further Jacuzzi bathroom and for our visiting families we have a family suite which comprises of a double room with sea views, a separate twin room for the youngsters and your own bath/shower room with oversized shower and separate bath. An outer locking door separates the suite from the rest of the guest house giving total privacy to our families. All rooms are well equipped with complementary tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, TV, dvd and radio alarm clocks, furnished with tasteful furniture to ensure your comfort and giving ample storage. Ironing board available on request and we have on site off road parking.
